Holywell Cricket Club was formed in 2007 and play both weekend and midweek fixtures against teams from the Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire area during the summer months.
Whilst the winter means that we’re currently taking a break from cricketing activities, weekly indoor winter nets are scheduled to start in January 2010 - these will take place in a regular spot on weekday evenings, and details will appear here when confirmed.
In May 2010 the new season will begin, with Sunday games taking place every fortnight. In addition, there will be a number of midweek evening games being held during the weeks in between. Sunday games typically follow a 40 over format, whilst weekday evening games are Twenty20. Winter nets have just started every Tuesday evening from 8pm until 9pm in the ECB building at: Loughborough University, Epinal Way, Loughborough, LE11 3TU.
In line with the philosophy of Nottingham United FC, we welcome all new players of all ability levels. If you like playing cricket, then you can do it with us however rusty your skills may be!
