Notts Utd Welcome New Managerial Appointments And Vice-Captain! - The club committee are pleased to announce that Notts Utd Stalwart Dan Thain has been confirmed as the new Saturday 1st Team Assistant Manager and Vice-Captain.

Dan’s quality and experience from his Sunday team role will be invaluable as we seek to strengthen the Saturday team to follow in the success of our Sunday teams.
Thanks to all the other people who applied for the role!

We also welcome experienced coach Gav F to the club, who joins the managerial staff as we look to further strengthen the structure of the club and bring success in all areas.

Notts Utd Win The Champions Cup! - On Tuesday the 20th of October our Notts Utd All-Stars team won the Champions Cup in Bingham after a 19 week campaign, which saw us narrowly miss out on doing the double, finishing just 2 points behind the eventual league winners. We put this out of our minds as we set out to win the cup, 1st topping our group with 4 wins out of 4, before we won the quarter final 5-0, semi-final 6-5 on penalties and a comfortable 2-0 win in the final to see us crowned champions! Big thanks to our sponsor, Simply Plants.

We now book a place in the Champion of Champions Cup in Sheffield in July, where we will face every other regional league and cup winners, aiming to improve on last years quarter-final place that we achieved in Leeds. Congrats to every player that took part over the last 19 weeks, and we have already re-entered the league and cup for the next summer season. Man-of-the-match on finals night was Omar Murtaza, who showed his qualities as one of the best keepers in Notts and a great team player.

Free Club Email Address! - All players can now have a free club e-mail address! So if you want yourname @nottinghamunitedfc.co.uk please send us an email to: admin@nottinghamunitedfc.co.uk and we will set up one for you.

More Sponsorship! - The club are pleased to announce that we have received 2 more private sponsorships that will help the club grow and we intend to use the money to help finance another two 11-a-side teams that we intend to add to the club over the next couple of months.

This is in addition to the sponsorship we receive from
Simply Plants and NottinghamFooty.co.uk, so we’d like to thank all the people that have contributed to the club!

It’s a very nice venue, easy to find and with good parking and Sky Sports for those that want to watch the Sunday afternoon football. The address is:

Legends –vs– Academy! - Legends Retain Trophy! - On Friday the 18th December we played our annual Legends –vs– The Academy match, with the young ‘uns out to gain a revenge after last years 6-2 thrashing. Captained by Sean C and managed by Yas R they got off to a great start, taking a 2-0 lead at half time through goals from Jack O and Saddam A. The Legends, managed by Adam G and captained by Mark H didn’t let their heads go down and were soon back in it in the 2nd half after a trademark wonder-strike by Aqeel G. Shortly after Mark T made it 2-2, before lobbing the keeper 4 minutes from time to give the Legends team a 3-2 victory and retain the trophy for another year. Yet another lesson to the young ‘uns that you just can’t beat experience and bragging rights are secured for another year!
