Bulgaria Tour 2010 Confirmed! - We are pleased to announce that we have arranged a club tour to Bulgaria from the 13th of August to the 21st of August. All club members are welcome, plus any newcomers that may wish to join us with us. We currently have 14 people who have booked their flights and are likely to limit numbers to 22 players. The accommodation will be arranged by the club and more detailed info regarding full events/fixtures on the tour can be found on our Nottingham United FC Facebook group. If you aren’t on Facebook and are interested in the trip, please see a committee member at training or call/txt Mark on 07920063239 for more details.

We will have use of a team bus with driver during our tour and will take several trips to famous landmarks during our time there, combined with 11-a-side matches against FC Lulin(3rd Division team), FC Septemvri and the highlight of the trip, a match against CSKA Sofia U17’s team. We also have several 6-a-side matches arranged, including games against FC Chichovtzi and Lozenec City who are the Bulgarian national 6-a-side champions and runners-up. Thanks to our links with one of Bulgaria’s top football agencies, this trip has received a lot of publicity over there and our matches will be filmed by a local cable TV company, so this promises to be something very different and not to be missed! More events and possibly 1 more 11-a-side fixture are likely to be added to the tour in the coming weeks.

4 Promotions On The Bounce! - Congrats To The Powerleague Team! - The Club would like to congratulate all members of the Powerleague team on securing their 4th promotion in the last 4 seasons. Considering we took over the team from league strugglers beeston biz who were bottom of the league on a –100 goal difference, under the guidance of Andy G and Yas R the team has gone from Division 6 to Division 2 in 4 seasons, securing the league title with a record 35-0 victory over Bridgford Inferno on Wednesday the 14th.

Wednesday Powerleague News! - Notts Utd Stay Top! - On Wednesday the 14th April we recorded a 35-0 victory to secure the league title and record our 4th straight promotion. You can read the detailed weekly match reports on the 5-a-Side page.

3 Peaks Challenge - Please Support! - On the 4th and 5th of June, Mark Thomas along with 2 friends will be attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge. This consists of climbing the highest mountains in England, Wales and Scotland in a 24 hour period.
