Nottingham United FC In Africa! - Nottingham United FC have just donated a kit to our team in Sierra Leone and would like to thank all the players that donated boots, shin pads and other equipment. We will be sending equipment every 6 months, so if you have anything you wish to donate, please bring them to any of the weekly training sessions and leave them with a committee member. We will be publishing the team a page on our website and will have regular pics and updates of our newest side.

Notts Utd European Tour - Bulgaria 2011! - We just completed our tour which was a huge success, playing 9 games, winning 4, drawing 2 and losing 3. Some great results including 3-3 draws with CSKA Sofia and Levski Sofia, plus a thrilling 5-4 win over Ropotamo Primorsko FC. We would like to thank our hosts for the fantastic treatment we received, our two loan signings Filip Filipov and Ivo Andreev and most importantly of all, our Honorary President Dimitar Penev for all his effort and support during the tour. We look forward to welcoming him to Nottingham in August. Next years tour will be to Germany in July and will include matches against Semi-Professional teams in and around Berlin. Germany 2012 Tour Dates Confirmed! - We can now confirm our 2012 Tour of Germany will be July 14th until 22nd and all existing club members, plus any newcomers are welcome. We have the first 3 fixtures confirmed against some massive clubs, including SFC Stern 1900 e.V. , SV Lichtenberg 47 e.V. and Tennis Borussia Berlin e.V. We are absolutely delighted that the biggest and best semi-professional clubs in Berlin will host us in what will be some fantastic matches in one of Europe’s greatest cities. Flight/hotel details are available on Facebook or by request. More details, including extra fixtures will be added to our Facebook group event.

Nottingham Utd – Pre-Season Fixtures! - We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting Burton Albion FC on Tuesday the 10th of July at home at The Summit Centre. The fixture against the Football League Club will be one of the highlights of the summer and will come just days before our Germany Tour. Ticket prices for this fixture will be up on the site soon.

Nottingham Utd – Weekend In Wales! - Following last summers mini-tour of Wales, we shall be returning for our final pre-season fixtures which will take place the last weekend in July. In our previous visit we played Welsh giants Caernarfon Town and Glan Conwy FC and club officials will be making contact again with our Welsh friends in the coming days to arrange new fixtures. We shall be heading into Wales on the Friday, with fixtures on Saturday and Sunday before returning home. Full details will be up soon.

Season 2011-12 Completed! - With all of the Nottingham Utd Teams completing their fixtures, we can look back on what has been a successful season with all but one of the seven teams achieving better finishes than in 2010-11. With the Sunday 1st Team finishing runners-up the Premier Division of the NCFL and the Sunday 3rd Team in contention for promotion, it looks like being a very good season in 2012-13. On Saturdays there has been much improvement with the Saturday 1st Team securing a respectable mid-table finish in the CMFL, beating some of the best teams in the league on the way and the Saturday A Team making good progress in the NAA, highlighted by the recent win away at top of the league AFC Bridgford. The Saturday Reserves endured a miserable season in the CMFL falling down the table until the new joint-managerial appointment 2 months ago changed their fortunes for the better and they finished the season very strongly with a new side that looks certain to be challenging for the league in 2012-13.

Club Changes For 2012-13 Season! - The Club has made several recent changes aimed at bringing further success in the 2012-13 season. There have been changes to the club board with former Sunday 1st Team Joint-Manager Andy Cruddace joining the clubs committee and taking on a Director of Football role with the Saturday setup. Club stalwart Andrew Richards also joins the committee after several seasons with the club. There will be a few managerial changes in the summer yet to be announced, which follows the appointment of Dennis H and Mark H as the new joint-managerial team for the Saturday 1st Team in the CMFL. We will also be welcoming several new coaches to the club and strengthening the playing staff with a mixture of senior players from other football pyramid clubs and the best players from the youth leagues.
